guided by a light
to where spirits roam free

confused by a terror filled world
i long for a time i don't remember
trying to escape for a last time
filled by an empty hope

no light remain on earth
lost our way again
weighed by a life full of mistakes

weakened and drained
i still find comfort
in this long gone past
a past where all had colour

all things were of meaning
nothing was in vain
somedays i doubt
this hopeful dream
but my silly wishs keep me going
